Title: Cable TV vs Internet
Post by: Mike Raburn on September 26, 2010, 12:31:03 AM
I broke down and got yet another HD DVR cable box.
Even after my swear off of paying more money for cable.

This past week was season premier week and I missed a few shows and some conflicted with recording times.

I fired off the home theater pc and got on Hulu and they were all there when I want them.

Remind me why I am paying for cable.....?
I am not a bright man.

But the college football saturation is awesome!!!
GO BAMA!

I use Hulu but will probably continue to pay for cable. Anytime the setting in the show gets dark, I can't see anything on my computer monitor. Also, since we use Comcast, we can catch up on things we missed by using On Demand.

I still need to justify to myself the cost of cable vs the internet.

I can go to various sites and download media and be in within my download limits of 85 gig per month.

I can watch movies not yet out on dvd....but the quality is marginal.

What is a nerd to do?????

I know!!!!

Pick up a book and read!
Damn, then I need to get a IPAD or Nook.
I am so confused.

The darkness is what I noticed too on my cpu, PS3, HTCP, hooked into my tv.
But you know, that darkness is there also via the cable box.
Who knows.......
