Winter storm warning in effect from 8 pm this evening to 4 pm est Wednesday.
The NWS in Burlington has issued a winter storm warning for the Northern Champlain Valley of Vermont and New York, as well as for the remainder of Northern Vermont, which is in effect from 8 pm this evening to 4 pm est Wednesday. The winter storm watch is no longer in effect.
Snow will develop across the region between 8 pm and 10 pm tonight and will continue into Wednesday morning, before tapering off by late Wednesday afternoon. Snow may be heavy at times after midnight tonight. A total snow accumulation of 6 to 10 inches is expected by late Wednesday afternoon.
