Ed, I read somewhere in the fine print of the new health care plan that that was covered. It pays to read the fine print of a million page document. Kinda like our insurance policies.

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On 04/11/2010 at approximately 1040am, Peter Lowry from Irasburg called the State Police in Derby to report his 20 year-old, 100 pound tortoise was missing.  Mr. Lowry reported he believed the tortoise had been stolen as it was kept in a specific building for raising animals and does not believe it just wandered away. The State Police initiated an investigation and have been following up on information provided as to who might have been responsible for this incident.

On Thursday evening, 04/22/2010 at approximately 10pm, Mr. Lowry received a phone call at his residence which provided information as to where the tortoise may be located. Mr. Lowry went to this location, and located his tortoise, which was safe. Mr. Lowry has brought the tortoise back home and the investigation as to who is responsible for stealing the tortoise is continuing.  Due to the nature of this investigation, further details, to include the location where the tortoise was located, are being withheld at this time.
