Title: Conversation With Larry Leach Yesterday
Post by: Henry on January 22, 2014, 06:27:38 AM
Talking with Larry Leach yesterday about the temperature at Fairfax Falls the year I was born 80 years ago.  Found my original post on the forum so you can click on the link below if you would like to read about it:

I have a photograph of a very cold day in Fairfax.

Handwritten Message on the back:

Feb 8, 1951
37 degrees below zero
Raymond McNall

He is in front of Alderman's store,  driving a team of horses, pulling a sled loaded down with his milk cans,  he was taking his product to the creamery, located near Silva Thibaults Store and House ...  I'll try to scan it and post here.

Mike M

Stay Warm ..

It would be wonderful to see that photo, Mike; I did delight in knowing Ray McNall. He told me many wonderful stories.
