Many apologies for being a couple of days late.
Two things happened on August 9th.
On August 9, 1969, the Fairfax Senior Citizens Friendly Neighbors was organized. Currently, they meet twice a month at the fire station for a luncheon.
On August 9, 1981, Berardinelli's General Store opened in the old St. Luke's Church. Steeple Market is located there now.
