A judge is expected to hear arguments today in the case of a Westford woman accused of murdering her mother.

Police say Jeanne Sevigny shot 78-year-old Mary Wilcox in 2006, burned the body and had her son get rid of the remains. Police say Sevigny confessed to the crime, but those remains and a weapon have still not been found.

Today lawyers will argue whether the case is valid. With no hard evidence the case hinges on the confession from Sevigny's son.
