Come to one or all three free gardening workshops offered at the library this spring! Preregistration is helpful, but not required.
Thursday, March 7, 6-8 pm:
Spring Gardening Series: Gardening Start Up and Weeds
In the first of three gardening workshops offered by Master Gardener Kelly Wakefield, Kelly will provide helpful hints on veggie garden start up and planning, including cold frames, starting seeds and companion planting. Free, all are welcome. Preregistration encouraged.
Thursday, March 28, 6-8 pm: Spring Gardening Series: Weeds & Watering
In the second of three gardening workshops offered by Master Gardener Kelly Wakefield, Kelly will speak about pesky weeds and how to prevent them. She will also dispense some watering and harvest tips, as well as end of season tasks. Free, all are welcome. Preregistration encouraged.
Thursday, April, 6-8 pm: Spring Gardening Series: Easy Care Shrubs and Perennials
In our final session, Kelly will be talking about easy care shrubs and perennials. As well, she'll cover pruning, design, and as a special treat: rain gardens. Preregistration encouraged.
