Oh, how we couldn't wait for it to get warm and the racing season to get here. Well, me anyway.
Now. it's here, and already I look at the next three months and think, "Summer's almost over", and it really hasn't started yet.
I need to get to Montpelier.
The Pie and Ice Cream Social is coming SOON! Must solicit pies and workers.
4th of July. We will be racing. Are there fireworks this year? I almost don't think so.
Start planning for the museum to be open Sundays.
Firefighters Convention mid-August, so there will be nights of muster practice before that.
Teachers will be wanting to get into their rooms.
And then there's the Champlain Valley Fair.
And school starts.
Good grief. I just need to stop and take each day as it comes. And enjoy those days, however I can.
