Title: Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony In Fairfax??
Post by: Henry on December 06, 2010, 11:17:20 AM
Will there be a Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in Fairfax this year??  Haven't heard about one, but I believe it is usually held up between J & L Hardware and The Post Office.  I think they used to have rides for the kids also on a Hay Wagon.

Yes there will be a lighting ceremony, I believe that Katrina will be announcing it soon.  The lights were just picked up from storage in our barn by Ann Lemieux this weekend.  "The annual Christmas Tree Lighting festivities will take place Saturday, Dec 11, 4:00 to 6:00 PM. Ann and Katrina are coordinating the event and are looking for volunteers."  (Taken from the Citizens for Fairfax Community meeting minutes.)

Excellent!  I will have to round up my friends with their kids so I can blend in :-)  Thanks so much for putting this all together and to all those that donated for the kids!
